Our Little Blondies

India & 'layna in their matching summer dresses. Kim and I used to wear these exact dresses! I wonder if I could find a picture with both me and Kim like this.

Aunt Dimbilee's Graduation Party

We had a party at Scott & Lalli's house. Austin was there too, I just didn't get any pictures with him. Sorry honey!

Natural History Museum

The first Monday of every month is free at the Natural History Museum. These picts are from the 1st Monday in April (I'm a little behind on my blogging). My parents and two youngest sisters came with us.

Black Door & Shutters

Being a Realtor I see a lot of houses and even when I'm just driving around I notice houses a lot more than I ever did before. I've come to LOVE it when houses have black doors and black shutters.

So back in December on a warm day I painted my front door black and I just barely got around to painting the shutters. I love doing stuff like this. Easy little jobs that beautify my house. Little did I know that hornets were building little houses behind each and every shutter. Hornets and bees and wasps are my worst fear and spiders are a very close second. I took down all of the shutters and killed the bees and their houses all by myself! Which goes to show how badly I wanted to paint my shutters black. Austin helped me re-hang them. But I really should get a prize for facing my fear and killing the poor helpless bees.

May Closing!

Congrats to Chris & Holly! They found a steal of a deal in Heber City! It was listed at $189,000 but the sellers were so desperate to sell that my client's got it for $175,000 minus $5,000 for closing costs! Chris & Holly are first-time home buyers and they filed an extension for their taxes so that they can get the $8,000 tax credit this year! (You can also file an amendment and get the $8,000 this year). About a month ago I asked them if they were starting to pack and they said that they had been packed for awhile. Thankfully their deal went smoothly and they have a place all their own! Happy unpacking!
